Staffing CoordinatorTurn your job into career with EmpRes!Job Summary:Shepherd of the Valley Rehabilitation and Wellness is looking for a Staffing Coordinator to create, maintain and manage schedules for floor nursing staff in an organized and timely manner.Essential Functions:
- Ensures adequate scheduling of all nursing staff for 24-hour coverage and reviews daily with DNS, and/or Supervisors.
- Provides units with daily schedule sheets and maintains record.
- Adjusts schedule per occupancy report daily.
- Coordinates attendance with payroll.
- Maintains a current listing of all nursing staff phone numbers.
- Assists the Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse, DNS, SDC in developing work assignments, and schedules
- Ensures that all OSHA and safety standards are followed, as applicable to the position and in the business location or workplace in accordance with state and federal regulation and Policies and Procedures.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:- Required: High School Graduate or equivalent
- Preferred: Experience with scheduling of multiple units/persons
- Ability to perform duties assigned in an effective and timely manner.
