Responsibilities Include:
•Confers with appropriate medical and facility staff to coordinate and schedule admission of resident
•Assigns accommodations for new admissions related to nursing care needs, resident and resident's family’s preference, availability of space, and other information, Enters bed assignment information
•Prepares records of admission, transfer, and other required data
•Notifies departments of resident's admission
•Maintains accurate financial records where appropriate
•Keeps records of admissions and discharges, and compiles occupancy census data
•Interviews resident or resident's representative to obtain necessary personal and financial data to determine eligibility for admission
•Determines work procedures, to maintain sales efforts that secure positive referral flow to the facility's objectives
•Initial liaison with resident and families on facility services and issues
•Assists in all marketing efforts for the facility
•Participates in departmental budget planning and supplies monthly report to Administrator
