Benefits Director oversees the development, implementation, administration, and maintenance of benefits programs, policies, and procedures. Ensures programs are chosen to be equitable, meet employee needs, comply with legal requirements, and to be cost effective. Being a Benefits Director establishes practices for evaluating existing benefits programs against peer organizations to determine competitiveness, trends and developments. Makes high-level decisions to modify existing benefits programs or institute new ones. Additionally, Benefits Director requires a bachelor's degree. May require Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS). Typically reports to top management. The Benefits Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be a Benefits Director typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments.     Requirements

    You Might Be the Perfect Fit if You:

     

    • Hold the necessary credentials for a Childcare Director in Georgia, which include the ability to pass a background check, a high school diploma or GED, relevant experience in a licensed childcare center, alongside one of the following: an associates, bachelor’s or master's degree in ECE, a CDA, a TCC in ECE, a 40-hour director training course, or a paraprofessional certificate. 
    • Demonstrate strong leadership skills.
    • Have genuine empathy and understanding of children's needs and development.
    • Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Exhibit flexibility and adaptability to meet community needs and respond to changing circumstances.
    • Capable of meeting the physical demands of working with children.
