Benefits Director oversees the development, implementation, administration, and maintenance of benefits programs, policies, and procedures. Ensures programs are chosen to be equitable, meet employee needs, comply with legal requirements, and to be cost effective. Being a Benefits Director establishes practices for evaluating existing benefits programs against peer organizations to determine competitiveness, trends and developments. Makes high-level decisions to modify existing benefits programs or institute new ones. Additionally, Benefits Director requires a bachelor's degree. May require Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS). Typically reports to top management. The Benefits Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be a Benefits Director typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments.     What You’ll Do

    • Provide advice and coaching to HR and business leaders on remuneration and benefits decisions and application of Group remuneration framework, policy, and processes.
    • Follow Regional project leadership and governance of Group remuneration policy, framework, and processes
    • Actively drive and own external remuneration reporting requirements for ANZ, including the WGEA Report.
    • Work with Remuneration Leadership team colleagues regarding global pay equity and transparency issues
    • Lead and guide analyst resources to conduct job evaluations, conduct benchmarking and analysis, ensure data is correct and that local remuneration needs are reflected.
    • Lead the design of local remuneration and benefits strategy to support business and talent strategies and needs.
    • Support business leaders with commercial bids and other commercial remuneration analysis as required.

    What You’ll Have

    • Deep expertise and knowledge of remuneration and benefits practices
    • Significant experience in leading pay review projects across multiple countries
    • Significant experience in leading and working with HR and business leaders to design effective remuneration strategy.
    • Experience in designing performance management frameworks, KPIs and variable remuneration plans
    • Excellent analytical, data and reporting skills
    • Be highly collaborative and actively engaged with stakeholders across multiple locations and time zones
    • Degree qualified in a relevant field such as commerce/ business/ human resources
