Benefits Director oversees the development, implementation, administration, and maintenance of benefits programs, policies, and procedures. Ensures programs are chosen to be equitable, meet employee needs, comply with legal requirements, and to be cost effective. Being a Benefits Director establishes practices for evaluating existing benefits programs against peer organizations to determine competitiveness, trends and developments. Makes high-level decisions to modify existing benefits programs or institute new ones. Additionally, Benefits Director requires a bachelor's degree. May require Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS). Typically reports to top management. The Benefits Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be a Benefits Director typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments.     Requirements:

    The ideal candidate will:

    • Be organized and efficient
    • Be detail oriented
    • Have excellent communication skills both written and verbal
    • Take initiative to problem solve and improve processes
    • Work well in a team and independently
    • Be very knowledgeable about Microsoft Excel, Word.
    • Multitask
    • Bilingual (preferable, not required)
    • Be able to pass a background check
    • 90 day probationary period

    Responsibilities:

    • Advocate on behalf of our clients.
    • Budget and determine individual’s financial needs.
    • Generate and respond to daily emails and telephone voice messages.
    • Process various reporting documents within 24/48 hours of receipt.
    • Daily communications with clients, Social Security and various social service agencies via phone and in person.
    • Report changes to government agencies
    • Work, create, and adjust various reporting spreadsheets.

    Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
