Benefits Director oversees the development, implementation, administration, and maintenance of benefits programs, policies, and procedures. Ensures programs are chosen to be equitable, meet employee needs, comply with legal requirements, and to be cost effective. Being a Benefits Director establishes practices for evaluating existing benefits programs against peer organizations to determine competitiveness, trends and developments. Makes high-level decisions to modify existing benefits programs or institute new ones. Additionally, Benefits Director requires a bachelor's degree. May require Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS). Typically reports to top management. The Benefits Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. As a Benefits Coordinator for ProValue Insurance, you will be responsible for overseeing the enrollments, changes, terms, training, and administration of benefits offered by ProValue and its affiliated companies. This position will work closely with the Vice President of Group Benefits to provide similar services to benefit customers.

All Benefits Department roles will be expected to work together as a team to ensure our customers have a smooth customer service experience.
This position offers some workplace flexibility and allows you to work remotely from time-to-time, although a physical presence in the Hutchinson office is required most days when not traveling. You will be required to travel as needed to provide educational meetings and various help needed for our customers. This could include overnight travel at times, especially during open enrollment season. Additional travel may be required to attend outside meetings for continuing education or other required meetings.
You will also collaborate with other professionals within ProValue Insurance and our affiliated companies when needed to prove to clients that we are a full-service insurance agency.
