Ensures programs are equitable, meet employee needs, comply with legal requirements, and are cost effective. Being a Benefits Manager develops benefits communications and counsels employees on benefits related issues. Evaluates existing benefits programs against peer organizations to determine competitiveness, trends and developments. Additionally, Benefits Manager requires a bachelor's degree. May require Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS). Typically reports to director. The Benefits Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Job Purpose
The purpose of the Senior Benefits Manager role is to oversee and manage the company-wide benefits programs and systems. This includes leading the development and implementation of a comprehensive benefits package that meets the needs of both our associates and the company. Being the subject matter expert in benefits, this role provides guidance in all areas of benefit administration and initiatives. In addition, serve as the point person and designated administrator of the HRIS (Paycom) system to support all locations.
