Benefits Manager develops, implements, administers, and maintains benefits programs, policies, and procedures. Ensures programs are equitable, meet employee needs, comply with legal requirements, and are cost effective. Being a Benefits Manager develops benefits communications and counsels employees on benefits related issues. Evaluates existing benefits programs against peer organizations to determine competitiveness, trends and developments. Additionally, Benefits Manager requires a bachelor's degree. May require Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS). Typically reports to director. The Benefits Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Benefits Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. Glass Manufacturing Warehouse Tasks & Duties (What You'll Do)
- Follow project instructions from manager or supervisor
- Move materials from one place to another
- Lift materials
- Follow all health and safety regulations when operating equipment
- Wear headgear, earplugs, gloves, safety glasses, and clothing
- Complete all assigned tasks in a quickly and safely
- Clean and clear debris and hazardous materials
Glass Manufacturing Warehouse Qualifications (Requirements / Skills)
- Ability to physically stand, bend, squat, and lift up to 40 pounds
- Positive attitude and work ethic
- Able to work independently or as an active member of a team
- Excellent interpersonal skills and communication with all levels of management
- Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
- Able to pass a background check.
- Able to work in the US.
