Benefit Specialist

Raymour & Flanigan, a billion-dollar furniture retailer based in Liverpool, NY, is seeking an experienced Benefits Specialist to join our Human Resource Team. Expectations and Job Functions:

• Administer New Hire benefit enrollments
• Perform dependent benefit eligibility audits
• Assist in processing mid-year benefit enrollments
• Answer benefit inquiries through email and phone
• Calculate adjustments for benefit deductions
• Manage leaves of absence, such as FMLA, NY PFL, and ADA accommodations
• Partner with HR field and benefit vendors
• Ability to handle multiple tasks/projects simultaneously
• Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities
• Excellent verbal, written, and professional communication skills
• Motivated self-starter and quick to grasp new concepts
• Solid follow-up skills, attention to detail, and organizational skills

Qualifications:

• 1-2 years of experience in a professional environment (Preferably Human Resources)
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or Business field preferred
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Applications with an emphasis on Excel
• Strong mathematical skills

This is a full-time position.
