The Systems Administrator III must possess demonstrable advanced expertise in storage management, data center operations, backup solutions, and virtualization technologies. This position requires a strategic thinker who can support design and implement robust infrastructure solutions to meet the organization's evolving needs.
This role includes responsibility for usage monitoring, the broadcast and enforcement of system standards, and other work as required. This position participates in technical research and development to enable continuing innovation within the infrastructure.
Incumbents are expected to be proficient in the Open Systems Interconnection (OSI) model, client and server systems, systems analysis and architecture, application configuration and integration, telecommunication administration, organizational techniques, application security administration, backup and disaster recovery systems, and related processes used in Information Technology (IT) Department. This individual will assist project teams with technical issues in all phases of our standard Project Management Methodology. These activities include the definition of needs, benefits, and technical strategy; research and development within the project life-cycle; technical analysis and design; and support of operations staff in executing, testing and implementation of the solutions. The position will be required to work with people of various professional, vocational, and educational backgrounds.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field AND eight (8) years of progressive experience in a senior level technical capacity for a medium to large organization with a structured IT department.
OR
Twelve (12) years of progressive experience in a senior level technical capacity for a medium to large organization with a structured IT department.
Experience may be substituted on a year by year basis.
Position is suited for a mid-level to advanced career analytics or technical person.
The incumbent must have basic technical skills that come from a Degree in Information Systems or 6-8 years of general analytical experience.
