Senior Pharmacy Operations Manager needed for a permanent opportunity with Yoh's client located in Fairfield, CA!

Top Skills You Should Possess:

• Pharmacy Technician Experience
• CA Pharmacy Technician License
• CA driver's license and proof of current automobile insurance
• Ability to work from fulltime, M-F 8:00am-5:00pm

What You'll Be Doing:

• Responsible for making telephone calls to members and providers, as well as data entry
• Provides leadership, direction, and support to the Pharmacy Operations and Pharmacy Technicians. Monitors team performance and trends, evaluates performance, and provides developmental opportunities for the pharmacy technician staff.
• Mentors the Pharmacy Technicians and oversees the training and orientation of new staff on operation proficiency and professional growth and development.
• Interacts with pharmacies to identify and solve pharmacy satisfaction issues.
• Reviews departmental policies and procedures.
• Monitors team performance and trends to ensure adherence to policies and procedures to provide the highest level of customer service.
• Monitors the handling, coordination, and resolution of complaints/grievance issues.
• Leads project management activities as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

What You Need to Bring to the Table:

• Current California Pharmacy Technician License without restrictions required
• CA driver's license and proof of current automobile insurance required
• Four-year college degree; minimum two (2) years of experience coordinating and managing projects, preferably in health care, managed care, health insurance, or pharmacy environment.
• Excellent organization and project management skills with ability to work on multiple assignments simultaneously, prioritize work, and complete tasks within established timelines.
• Knowledge of and experience with state and federal insurance programs, a plus
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Excellent computer and Microsoft Office skills
