Bereavement Coordinator plans and provides bereavement counseling and support to survivors. Assesses individual needs and coordinates with multi-disciplinary teams to develop and deliver a holistic support plan. Being a Bereavement Coordinator guides survivors to appropriate bereavement resources. Facilitates grief support group sessions. Additionally, Bereavement Coordinator requires a bachelor's degree in social work. May require the applicable State License to Practice Clinical Social Work. Typically reports to a manager. The Bereavement Coordinator occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Position Purpose:
Coordinators manage program and campaigns that reach key strategic outcomes and empower workers across the long term-care sector to raise standards and enforce their rights through forming, building, and growing their union and reaching political, legislative and policy goals.
SEIU Local 2015 Coordinators may be assigned to work with and on behalf of workers who are already in our local, or with and on behalf of workers who are in the process of building a union for the first time.
The core role of the Coordinator is to provide leadership, direction and development to staff and members, and coordinate large pieces of program or campaign across a geography, program area, or industry. As part of the leadership team, the Coordinator collaborates implementation of SEIU Local 2015 members Mission, Vision, Values and Organizational Priorities.

Working Conditions:
Salary Range $108,733.93 to 114,238.59.
