Bereavement Services Director - Home Care jobs in Biloxi, MS
Bereavement Services Director - Home Care designs, plans and directs the home care bereavement program. Trains and coordinates a staff of bereavement counselors. Being a Bereavement Services Director - Home Care assigns counselors to families as necessary, and ensures services fulfill the needs of the family. Requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Bereavement Services Director - Home Care typically reports to top management. The Bereavement Services Director - Home Care manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Extensive knowledge of department processes. To be a Bereavement Services Director - Home Care typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 to 3 years supervisory experience may be required. Job Duties:
- Assist clients with daily living activities
- Communicate ongoing care results and updates to relevant parties
- Collaborate with clients and families for best care opportunities
- Maintain a healthy and comfortable living environment
Qualifications:
- Must have valid DL & your own transportation
- Previous experience in personal care or other related fields preferred
- Compassionate and caring demeanor
- Ability to build rapport with clients
- Great verbal communication skills
