Beverage Manager - Casino manages all activities of the beverage function for the organization.   • DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    1. Manages communications to the media, including preparing articles, press kits, press release, and other content initiatives.
    2. Manages marketing campaign production and delivery.
    3. Supervises General Marketing Department in absence of the director.
    4. Coordinates marketing support with the Casino Marketing Department
    5. Ensure the company protects and promotes its image in a proper and consistent manner.
    6. Develop strategic general marketing plans with the General Marketing Director, including, but not limited to media events, entertainment, public relations, and advertising.
    7. Communicates all plans to the department Team Members to ensure thorough execution.
    8. Assists executive management in public information and relations activities, respond to media requests for information.
    9. Identifies opportunities to craft stories about the casino, through internal operations and external operations. Researches, gathers content, conducts interviews, writes, reviews, edits, and produces communications pieces to maximize positive exposure.
    10. Attends and participates in community events as a representative of the organization, and speaks on the organization’s behalf as requested.
    11. Oversees and supports internal and external events.
    12. Establishes relations with community organizations, Chambers of Commerce’s within the service area, and special interest groups.
    13. Must be able to represent the company as directed to meet with guests, community partners, vendors, members of media companies, and government officials.
    14. Prioritizes and handles multiple assignments, delivers finished products under tight deadlines, and adapts to meet unexpected urgent requests.
    15. Coordinates with other departments and executive management to prepare for press conferences, special meetings, and community events.
    16. Coordinates with Community Liaison Coordinator, media relations with local editors, writers, columnists, reporters, show hosts, newsroom staff, and show producers.
    17. Coordinates with Community Liaison Coordinator, tours of the property for the media, investors, and special groups or individuals.
    18. Create, promote, and maintain public relations throughout the community. Serves as the company spokesperson in the absence of the General Marketing Director or Executive Committee.
    19. Maintains professionalism in appearance and communications and presents a favorable image of Eagle Mountain Casino at all times.
    20. Analyzes coverage of production and advertising efforts, maintains records of coverage, and develops reports.
    21. Plan annual social media strategies and campaigns with the Social Media Specialist.
    22. Assist with social media efforts, contents, and regularly scheduled postings to ensure accuracy and enhance the positive promotion of the property.

    23. Held accountable for the accuracy and thoroughness of departmental records, timely payments, and timely reports.
    24. Maintains appropriate Team Member levels by interviewing, selecting, training, scheduling, evaluating, assisting with career development, promoting, disciplining, and terminating Team Members as needed, under approval and direction of General Marketing Director.
    25. Must attend and be certified in all applicable trainings required.
    26. All other departmental duties as assigned by General Marketing Director.

    QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
    1. Minimum age requirement is twenty-one (21).
    2. Bachelor’s degree in marketing, plus three (3) years’ supervisory duties in a marketing department, or five (5) years’ of marketing experience with experience in advertising, public relations, and advertising.
    3. Must have experience in hospitality, tourism or entertainment marketing experience.
    4. Must have strong guest service, public relations, and interpersonal skills.
    5. Demonstrated experience in storytelling through news media, including mobile, digital video production experience.
    6. Knowledge of casino slots and table games preferred.
    7. General knowledge of graphic and video designing and editing mobile and desktop application.
    8. Strong knowledge and understanding of social media platforms.
    9. Proven record of ability to establish and maintain relationships with members of the media and community.
    10. Must be well organized, self-motivated, and have superb interpersonal skills.
    11. Ability to demonstrate excellent judgement and discretion with sensitive issues.
    12. Must have a valid driver’s license, and be insurable through the casino’s insurance carrier.
    13. Must be computer literate with a strong emphasis on desktop publishing in Microsoft office and social media.
    14. Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
    15. Ability to handle and organize multiple responsibilities with or without supervision.
    16. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence and analyze and interpret documents, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
    17. Able to obtain and retain a gaming license through the Tule River Tribe Gaming Commission.

    PHYSICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL:

    1. While performing the duties of this job, the Team Member is regularly required to talk, hear, stand, walk, and sit.
    2. Repeatedly required to reach with hands and arms, use hand to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls.
    3. Occasionally required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
    4. Must be able to operate in mentally and physically stressful situations.
    5. Environment is administrative setting with occasional visits to the casino floor.
    6. Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
    7. Must be able to work in a fast paced environment.
    8. Must be able to travel.
    9. Noise level is normally an office setting, and moderate to high when on casino floor.
    10. Exposed to cigarette smoke, ringing bells, and flashing lights when on the casino floor.
    11. Must be able to perform all essential duties of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.

    REPORTS TO: General Marketing Director

    SUPERVISES: Social Media Specialist, Advertising Specialist, Entertainment Coordinator, Graphic Designer, and Digital Editor

    HOURS: The casino operates 24/7. Schedule, shift, and hours will vary

    SALARY: $34.48/ hr. / weekly pay / non-overtime eligible
