Beverage Manager - Casino manages all activities of the beverage function for the organization. Identifies, evaluates and develops strategies to increase revenue and guest satisfaction with the department's services. Being a Beverage Manager - Casino ensures compliance with all food and beverage regulations. Monitors equipment and inventory levels and takes appropriate action. Additionally, Beverage Manager - Casino may require a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to the head of the unit/department. The Beverage Manager - Casino supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Vendors – to ensure adequate inventory of supplies and equipment, to discuss pricing or service issues, to resolve any vendor performance issues, etc.
Regulatory agencies – regarding safety and compliance matters
Other contacts as needed (professional organizations, community groups, local media)
May serve as Manager on Duty or assist with other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Some college or advanced training in food and beverage operations plus 2 years related experience preferably in a facility of similar size and complexity, including supervisory experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management, culinary arts, or related field preferred. Must speak fluent English.
