Beverage Manager - Casino manages all activities of the beverage function for the organization. Identifies, evaluates and develops strategies to increase revenue and guest satisfaction with the department's services. Being a Beverage Manager - Casino ensures compliance with all food and beverage regulations. Monitors equipment and inventory levels and takes appropriate action. Additionally, Beverage Manager - Casino may require a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to the head of the unit/department. The Beverage Manager - Casino supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. Thorough knowledge of department processes.     ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

    1. Ensures customer satisfaction and casino play through prompt, efficient, and friendly service placing customers' needs first.
    2. Greets each customer, politely offering alcoholic or non-alcoholic drinks or taking food service orders.
    3. Retrieves drink orders from the beverage stations or bar areas and promptly delivers them to customers.
    4. Promptly takes beverage and/or food orders, accepts payment for item(s), and processes payment as outlined.
    5. Ensures that beverage/food order is accurate and promptly delivered to the guest.
    6. Makes continual rounds throughout the gaming areas to maintain food and beverage service.
    7. Ensures that all foodstuff is handled healthfully, following the guidelines of the food handler's training at all times.
    8. Maintains a neat, clean gaming area by promptly removing used food/beverage containers.
    9. Promotes internal guest service standards through courteous and respectful behavior.
    10. Constantly maintains a clean, efficient work area, wipes spills, replenishes condiments and when able, assists with service and maintenance of beverage stations.
    11. Complies with regulatory laws, PP&P, OLCC regulations, department policy and procedures, safety codes, etc.
    12. Promotes a clean, safe, and healthy work environment for employees and guests. Promptly reports all concerns to the supervisor.
    13. Ensures that equipment, tools, and materials are handled safely.
    14. Other related duties as assigned.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

    1. Six (6) months of experience in the customer service/hospitality industry.
    2. Possesses or obtains a Food Handler’s and OLCC service permit within 30 days of hire.
    3. POS and cash handling experience.
    4. Basic mathematical skills.
    5. Effective communication skills - provide instruction, respond to questions, and have exceptional interpersonal skills and abilities.
    6. Stand and/or walk for long periods; work in a smoke-filled environment; perform repetitive motions with arms, elbows, wrists, hands, and fingers; bend, lift, and maneuver 50 lbs.; and have good visual and auditory acuity to respond.
    7. Work a flexible schedule - weekends, holidays, and special events.
    8. Exhibits a professional demeanor through appearance and by maintaining a positive attitude toward all employees and guests.
    9. Requires a High-Security Gaming License clearance.
    10. Must be at least 21 years of age.
