ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Inventorying of bar items such as glassware, bar checks, etc. Monitoring and maintaining cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned work areas.Ensuring efficient bar operation according to company standards so service standards are met or exceeded.Establishing par levels for all bar products including the bar supplies. Assisting with cost control, schedules for staff and ongoing training.Training staff on all aspects of responsible alcohol service.Compliance with all Local, State and Federal sanitation and safety standards.Maintaining positive guest relations at all times by addressing and resolving guest and team member complaints.Maintaining all steps of the Customer Service program with each guest and team member.Other duties as assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supervising the Beverage department including ongoing training, coaching, counseling, and rewarding performance, conducting timely performance appraisals, and completing related paperwork.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be a minimum of 21 years of age.
High School diploma or equivalent.
Requires a minimum of one year experience as a Beverage Supervisor in a high-volume beverage or food & beverage outlet, or a minimum of three years’ experience as a bartender or beverage server in a high-volume beverage outlet.
Intermediate computer knowledge.
Possess knowledge of P & L and budget reports
Must have excellent customer service skills
Must qualify for licensing by Maryland Gaming Commission.
