Responsible for performing general repairs and maintenance services throughout the district.
List most important duties first
1. Performs general repairs as needed throughout the school district and support facilities
2. Uses materials, equipment and all hand tools required to complete assigned duties proficiently and safely.
3. May work with other crafts to complete repairs needed in regards to general renovations.
4. Works with construction materials as needed for general repairs.
5. Keeps daily records of materials used and fills out work orders assigned for the day; detects and reports repair and maintenance problems to supervisor.
6.Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
High School Diploma or GED

Hand tools (e.g., hammer, shovel, screwdriver), Power tools (e.g., radial saw, reciprocating saw, drill, pheunomatic hammer), Vehicles (e.g., automobile, truck, tractor, forklift)
No supervisory or direct people management responsibilities. May provide occasional work guidance, technical advice and training to staff.

Work involves frequent exposure to unpleasant elements, such as extreme temperatures, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, loud noise, chemicals, etc.
