FULL-TIME, NON-EXEMPT The schedule for this position is Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm. Salary D.O.E. Weiser Memorial Hospital offers competitive salaries and great benefits. The Billing Specialist is responsible for the billing process between the hospital and patients including insurance companies, federal agencies and third-party payers. The Billing Specialist audits patient accounts to ensure procedure, charges, and coding accuracy. The Billing Specialist collects payments from commercial companies, state, and federal agencies.

- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Proficiency in data entry using PC based software.
- Thorough understanding of different insurance plans, government agencies, Medicare and Medicaid.
- Previous billing experience.
- Ability to communicate in English both verballing and in writing.
- Bilingual Preferred.
