Job Summary

Accounts receivable workers are responsible for ensuring all incoming payments are received and processed. This role requires individuals to keep a precise record of all incoming payments and to make contact with clients to ensure outstanding invoices are paid. This role includes billing functions as well, including creating invoices on a daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.

• Essential Duties and Responsibilities

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other minor duties may be assigned.

• Updating and maintaining excel spreadsheets.
• Prepares invoices, listing items or services sold and balances due.
• Meet collection goals by contacting customers with balance. You will be responsible for maintaining the A/R report by calling daily, placing customers on stop service, and sending accounts to collections as needed.
• Posting and balancing payment types including checks, ACH, cash, and credit cards daily.
• Handles billing related questions when customers call.
• Creates and prints billing reports for accountant.
• Balance and verify bills received from landfills to ensure accuracy.
• Categorize and post deposits in Quickbooks.
• Close out and bill each completed work order in our system.

Education and Experience

• Education: High school diploma or GED (accredited).
• Experience: Minimum 2 years experience in Billing/Accounts Receivable in a fast past environment
• Proficiency in English.
• Proficiency in Excel and MS Office
• Certificates, Licenses, Registrations or Other Requirements
• Other Knowledge, Skills or Abilities Required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
