Seeking a full-time, and dedicated Billing Specialist in Huntsville, AL.
Candidate must be able to multi-task and must have organizational skills while working in a busy environment. Medical insurance experience is preferred. Staff hours are 8:30am-5pm M-F. Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent is required. Serious inquires only.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Submission of claims to appropriate insurance providers.
- Reconcile all charges and data entered into the EMR system for each claim to ensure accurate billing.
- Troubleshoot and complete any rejected claims for resubmission on a daily basis as necessary.
- Assist the A/R Manager as directed for re-submission of claims, follow-up of billed claims, and review of EOB's.
- Assist in the management and billing of patient accounts.
Must be able to pass a drug screening and background check prior to employment.
