Job Title: Human Resources Specialist (with Billing Responsibilities)
Job Summary:
The Human Resources (HR) Specialist with Billing Responsibilities is a multifaceted role that combines traditional HR functions with billing and financial tasks. This position is responsible for supporting HR processes while also assisting with billing activities, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in both areas. The HR Specialist with Billing Responsibilities plays a crucial role in maintaining HR and financial records, supporting employee relations, and facilitating billing processes.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Human Resources Functions:
- Assist in the recruitment process, including posting job openings, screening resumes, and conducting initial interviews.
- Manage employee onboarding and offboarding processes, including paperwork, orientation, and exit interviews.
- Respond to employee inquiries and provide guidance on HR policies, procedures, and benefits.
- Maintain employee records, including personnel files, HR databases, and timekeeping systems.
- Assist in the recruitment process, including posting job openings, screening resumes, and conducting initial interviews.
- Manage employee onboarding and offboarding processes, including paperwork, orientation, and exit interviews.
- Ensure compliance with billing regulations, contractual agreements, and internal policies.
- Provide administrative support to the HR department, including scheduling meetings, preparing reports, and managing correspondence
- Assist with special projects and initiatives as assigned by HR leadership or management.
Billing Responsibilities:
- Generate and review invoices for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with contractual agreements.
- Communicate with clients or vendors regarding billing inquiries, discrepancies, and payment arrangements.
- Ensure timely billing and collection of payments from clients or customers.
- Reconcile billing records with financial statements and resolve any discrepancies.
- Assist in financial reporting and analysis, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date billing records, documentation, and audit trails.
- Assist in preparing for and participating in audits and reviews related to billing and financial processes.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and controls related to billing and financial activities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field. (preferred)
- 2 years of experience in HR roles with exposure to billing or financial tasks.
- Knowledge of HR principles, practices, and employment laws.
- Familiarity with billing software or systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive HR and financial information.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a focus on customer service.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.

Pay: $33,000.00 - $36,000.00 per year
