Billing Specialist jobs in Worcester, MA

Our client, headquartered in Westborough, MA is a national leader in providing sustainable restroom solutions and has seen tremendous growth over the past couple of years. Their focus is on delivering a seamless, eco-friendly, and reliable rental experience that others can trust! As they build and create their growing infrastructure, they are searching for a Billing Specialist. This is a newly created role in a fast-paced environment in a small office. This role will support the company with billing existing customers, applying cash payments to customer accounts, and assisting customers with questions regarding invoicing. This role is on-site.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Generate daily invoices and e-mail / mail invoices.
• Review daily operating close-out to generate invoices.
• Apply daily payments received to customer accounts.
• Answer billing-related questions from our customers.
• Perform customer account reconciliations / rectify problems as necessary.
• They will train on billing requirements (bill frequency, bill format, special cost rates, tax codes) in support of generating timely accurate billing.
• Special projects as needed to include assisting with the on-boarding / conversion of newly acquired companies’ customers to our billing systems.
• Other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word)
• Ability to work with a team and independently
• Meticulous attention to detail

Education and Experience:

• At least 1 years of experience in relate field
• Associates degree preferred

Job Type: Full-time
