JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for gathering and entering all patient information into multiple database systems.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Enters patient demographics into Medisoft system.
• Ensure insurance/billing information is complete.
• Perform and/or assist others in assigned tasks related to information and communication flow.
• Maintain the professional image of the department and organization. Ensure optimal customer service.
• Perform other related duties incidental to work described herein.
• Displays a high level of effort and commitment to performing work; operates effectively within the organizational structure; demonstrates trustworthiness and responsible behavior.
• Shows persistence and seeks alternatives when obstacles arise; seeks alternative solutions.

• The position of the Data Entry Specialist is exposed to confidential material. All information must be kept in strict confidence and dealt with in professional manner according to HIPAA regulations.

Pay starts at $10.00/hour & can increase depending on job performance

Recommended Experience

• Knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT Codes preferred
• Experience in a medical setting

Education

• High School Diploma

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $13.00 - $18.00 per hour

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
