Behavioral Health Network is currently seeking a Billing Supervisor!

The requirements for this position are as follows:
- Ensures adequate staff coverage to meet department needs.
- Hires and terminates staff in conjunction with Department Director.
- Oversees Quality assurance and performance evaluations.
- Participates in ongoing development and updating of policies and procedures.
- Monitors to ensure that policies and procedures are being followed.
- Provides consultation, supervision, education, and training to staff.
- Performs recruitment and personnel evaluation as necessary.
- Promotes a stable and secure departmental environment during times of changing conditions, in order to achieve peak productivity and performance.
- Coordinates and oversees billing functions.
- Develops and coordinates client information system operations with Clinical Utilization Management and Quality Improvement functions.
Job Knowledge:
- Expert knowledge of mental health and substance abuse billing guidelines
- Able to direct, control and supervise the activities of a billing department while keeping AR to a minimum.
- Must be able to schedule, meet and maintain daily and monthly routines, assign personnel and maintain integrity of records.
- Expert knowledge of credit/debit cash posting.
- Oral and written communication ability necessary to train and supervise personnel.
- Ability to fairly and consistently enforce department and organization policies including disciplinary measures
- Must possess analytical and problem solving skills as well as the ability to work and communicate effectively with staff, other departments and payers.
- Requires the ability to motivate employees and organize tasks.
- Must be able to effectively work with computers and a variety of software programs with minimal supervision.
- Associates Degree.
