Aqueduct Technologies is seeking a talented and experienced Mobile Billing Analyst to join our customer's innovative team in the Greater Boston Area. This Remote role is responsible for the administration and support of the customer’s mobile billing system,
Job Responsibilities:
- Ask questions and keep learning.
- Assist in the high level and detail design for billing system changes.
- Support integration to Mobile billing system with tax systems, payment systems, interfaces
- Support cross-functional integrations with Digital/Web, Ticketing/Support, Sales Portal, etc
- Assist in requirements documentation, flow diagrams, etc
- Assist in Quality Assurance (testing and validation) of system changes and ensure proper audit compliance of a change’s lifecycle.
- Assist department in auditing initiatives related to billing/revenue assurance, operational compliance, and government compliance.
- Assist department in ensuring data integrity and standardization (where possible) on all system data such as customer, product, and transaction tables.
- Query the billing and support systems in order to provide operational support to the team and the company.
- Use analytics to identify data patterns/trends
- Contribute to strategy discussions, and decisions on overall design and best approach for implementing solutions.
- Communicate financial related changes and concepts effectively to a broad group of stakeholders.
- Support and maintain Taxation software (Vertex or others).
- Drive auditing initiatives for Government and Other related taxes and fees, as they apply to products and billing.
- Apply proven communication, analytical and problem-solving skills to identify, communicate and resolve issues.
- Participate in the Product Release management functions which may include developing test plans, performing test plans, facilitating with end users for end user acceptance testing.
- Interact with internal teams to support new product initiatives.
- Protect the organization by keeping information confidential and safe.
- Document all change requests and approval processes.
- Ability to train others in technical and non-technical tasks
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or information technology or equivalent work experience
- 5 years Mobile back-office/admin billing system experience or equivalent work experience in other systems
- 5 years Fixed network (Broadband, Cable, etc) back-office/admin billing system experience
- 5 year of Reports management and reports software experience, SQL language knowledge or Select writing
- Experience with system integration and/or vendor management work such as payment vendor, tax vendor, system conversion, etc
- Clear and effective communication skills, both written and spoken
- Knowledge of Mobile products and services
- Knowledge of Cable and Broadband Video and High Speed Internet products and services
- Detail oriented, analytical approach to problem solving
- Ability to work cross-functionally with other teams like Finance, Marketing, Product, Care, etc
- Great organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
