Scope:
- Manage all aspects of the Quality Management System (QMS), FAI, Source Inspection, and customer audits
- Promote, develop, and oversees compliance of the QMS system
- Assures compliance of customer requirements by managing quality policies, standards, procedures, programs, and practices while driving and facilitating continuous improvement initiatives
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manages the team through effective selection, training, and evaluation of members
- Delegates projects, tasks, and continuous improvement initiatives to meet quality and production goals
- Enforces departmental policies and ensures procedures are maintained and followed
- Monitors production scheduling and proactively adjusts and regulates workflow to meet requirements
- Member of the QMS and EHS internal audit team.
- Coordinate inspection as required and perform in house self-release source activities
- Coordinate defect escape prevention activities with QE and Process Engineering for all production and inspection departments
- Responsible for monthly/quarterly/annual in house ESD and solder station calibrations

Essential Knowledge and Skills:
- Familiarity with FMEA, C&E Matrix, Detail Process and Value Stream Mapping, Root Cause Analysis and Error Proofing tools
- Working knowledge of ISO9001:2000 and AS9100D
- Proven analytical and problem solving skills, including statistical data analysis and interpretation, as well as the ability to develop, implement, and drive improvement plans and project teams to successful completion
- Strong background in the use and understanding of key manufacturing performance metrics
- Strong communication, planning, organizational, and leadership skills
Education and Experience:
Education:
- 4 year degree in Quality/Technical field and 6 years’ experience in electronics manufacturing, engineering, or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Required Experience:
- 5 years of Quality Management Systems (QMS) experience within a leadership capacity
Preferred Experience:
- Experience with, and a demonstrated understanding of Six Sigma
- Previous experience working within a printed circuit board or electronics manufacturing environment
Export/ITAR Statement:
Must comply with TTM Export Control Policies and Procedures and all applicable laws including ITAR, EAR and OFAC. b) Reinforce to all employees the commitment of TTM management to abide by all US Export laws and regulations. c) Understand and follow authorization procedures for bringing foreign visitors into facilities (VAL). d) Support Export Compliance Officers and others in their efforts to ensure compliance with the Corporate Export policies through implementation and enforcement of these procedures, provide training to all facilities and departments and support periodic audits as required. e) Provide feedback to Corporate Export Compliance Office for continuous improvement of procedures and overall Export Compliance program.
