POSITION – Bindery Worker

JOB LOCATION – Eau Claire, Wisconsin

STARTING DATE – Immediately

EMPLOYMENT TERM – Long-Term and/or Temp-to-Hire

EMPLOYMENT TYPE – Part time (around 20 hours per week)

WORK HOURS (SHIFT) – 2nd shift/Nights, Sun-Fri

*shifts can vary by end time, there is not a set end time each day, you work until the job is complete. Example of different schedules here:

Sunday: 10:00pm to 2:30am

Monday: 9:00pm to 2:30am

Tuesday: 6:30pm to 2:30am

Wednesday: 4pm to 2:30am

Thursday: 7:30pm to 1am

Friday: 1:30pm to 4:00pm

STARTING PAY – $13.50 per hour

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE – No experience needed

REQUIRED EDUCATION – HS Diploma preferred but not required

While working as a packager in a Bindery setting you will be handling different aspects of the bindery process for paper/advertisements.

Responsibilities:

Work in fast-paced environment handling printed products through bindery, mailing, shipping, and delivery operations

Palletize pre-inserted sections to be used for future distribution needs

Make sure all newspapers are stacked and counted properly

Lift an empty pallet from a stack and place it on the floor for palletizing

Qualifications:

•High school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required.

•Be able to stand your entire shift.

•Ability to adapt to change in priorities on a daily basis.

•Ability to solve practical problems.

•Ability to follow written or verbal instructions.

•Good verbal communication skills.

•Ability to pay attention to detail.
