About this job…

Nosco is looking for a Bindey Operator at our Lockport, NY Facility.

As an employee owner in this position, you will effectively set up, catch, inspect, and load lightweight printed sheets of paper on a high-speed folding machine. In this role, you must demonstrate the ability to operate equipment at established rates of speed.

In this role, you will…

• Operate available equipment to ensure production objectives are met.
• Cross train on all finishing assets.
• Perform minor preventive maintenance and repairs while reporting any mechanical defects to the operator, manager, or technical lead.
• Ensure quality system procedures are always followed.

Success factors…

• Must have good interpersonal skills to be able to freely communicate with all production staff.
• Must have good mechanical background.
• Must have lift truck operating experience, at least one year
• Ability to sit, stand and walk for extended periods.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift up to 40 pounds, work at a computer for extended periods of time, and have manual dexterity for computer work; long periods of concentration; speaking, hearing and vision are also essentials to performing job functions.

Pay: $16.00 - $22.20 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
