Jacobs Entertainment is currently in search of a “Bingo Agent” for Gold Dust West Reno. The GDW Reno is located in the central downtown gaming district and has been a local’s favorite since 1977.  It features the latest and hottest slot machines, full-service bars, and the ever-popular Grille restaurant.

Essential Job Responsibilities and Duties:

• Acts alternately as sales cashier, caller, and floor person
• Sells bingo cards (paper packs and electronic cards) to customers and accounts for funds
• Maintains a balanced back for the entire shift by making every exchange carefully and accurately
• Calls numbers drawn and displays them to the public
• Operates bingo equipment and verifies winners to racked balls
• Observes players during the ball
• Verifies winning cards/paper
• Obtains payouts from the payout cashier to give to winning customers
• Complies with all bingo departmental policies and procedures
• Informs Bingo Supervisor of any irregularities within the department
• Operates computer systems within the department
• Assists in the training of new bingo agents

Skills, Education and Other Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent Work Experience
• Must be fluent in English
• Ability to read
• Must possess basic computer skills and ability to use 10-key
• Previous cash handling experience is preferred
• Identification that establishes identity
• Identification that establishes the right to work in the United States.
• Ability to obtain a Nevada Gaming License/registered with the Nevada Gaming Control Board
