A Flooring Wholesale Delivery Driver is responsible for safely and efficiently transporting flooring materials from the warehouse to customers' locations. This role requires excellent driving skills, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Transportation of Goods:

• Safely and efficiently load, transport, and unload flooring materials to various customer locations.
• Ensure all flooring materials are securely strapped and protected during transit to prevent damage.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving.

2. Delivery Coordination:

• Coordinate with the warehouse and dispatch to plan delivery routes and schedules.
• Confirm delivery addresses, contact information, and any special delivery instructions with customers prior to departure.

3. Customer Service:

• Provide excellent customer service by delivering flooring materials in a timely and professional manner.
• Communicate with customers regarding delivery times, delays, or any issues that may arise.
• Handle customer inquiries, complaints, or concerns related to deliveries with a positive and helpful attitude.

4. Vehicle Maintenance and Inspection:

• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the delivery vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
• Report any mechanical issues, damages, or maintenance needs to the supervisor or maintenance department promptly.
• Keep the delivery vehicle clean and organized at all times.

5. Documentation and Record Keeping:

• Complete delivery logs, mileage records, and any required paperwork accurately and timely.
• Obtain signatures or proof of delivery from customers and maintain delivery documentation for record-keeping purposes.
• Ensure all delivery documentation is submitted to the appropriate departments or personnel as required.

6. Safety and Compliance:

• Follow company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines at all times.
• Participate in regular safety training and adhere to safety protocols to minimize risks and accidents.
• Comply with all local, state, and federal transportation regulations and requirements.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
