Bingo Manager manages and directs the daily activities of the bingo department. Approves jackpots and payouts and ensures that all appropriate forms are completed. Being a Bingo Manager ensures compliance with federal and state gaming regulations. May require a high school diploma or its equivalent. Additionally, Bingo Manager typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Bingo Manager supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. POSITION SUMMARY:
Responsible assisting in all sub-department in bingo: floor clerk, pull tab clerk, Issues Supervisor, Caller, Admissions Clerk, Paper Clerk and Paymaster.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Includes the following (other duties may be assigned):
Maintains awareness of all Bingo floor activity.
Assists in ensuring compliance with federal currency reporting requirements.
Adheres to all Casino policies and procedures and internal controls.
Performs the following for each shift worked:
Answers guest questions regarding rules of the games operated by the Casino.
Assists new guests in how to play the games.
Sells bingo specials game cards to customers.
Sells pull tabs to guests.
Verifies winning BINGO and follows appropriate cash procedures in paying the prizes.
Maintains and is responsible for issued bank.
Communicates with Bingo Callers to ensure winners are handled correctly.
Helps settle guest’s disputes.
Balances the paper and cash count at end of shift.
Maintains positive player/house relations.
Maintains a professional, well-groomed image at all times.
Cleans assigned section at end of shift.
Participates in ongoing guest service training.

EDUCATION:
High school diploma or GED
TRAINING AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
One year prior Bingo experience or public speaking preferred.
