Bingo Manager manages and directs the daily activities of the bingo department. Approves jackpots and payouts and ensures that all appropriate forms are completed. Being a Bingo Manager ensures compliance with federal and state gaming regulations. May require a high school diploma or its equivalent. Additionally, Bingo Manager typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Bingo Manager supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. Thorough knowledge of department processes. To be a Bingo Manager typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. PREREQUISITESEducation: High school diploma or equivalent, college degree preferredExperience: A minimum of 1 year in a restaurant environment.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSMust be an excellent communicator with the ability to deal with all levels of team members. Computer knowledge is essential.Physical: Ability to work any area of the restaurant as needed and to operate computerized Point of Sale system/cash register. This position requires bending, standing and walking the entire workday.
