Duties

• Planning and coordinating scientific research activities.
• Preparing the CRIS Project Plan, annual reports, and providing technical information and consultation pertaining to the project to internal and external contacts.
• Planning, conducting, and reporting on personal research on enhancing genetic resistance to wheat pathogens such as leaf rust, stripe rust, and stem rust, insect pests, or extreme environmental conditions.
• Enhancing the creativity and productivity of the unit.
• Integrating and focusing the efforts of a multidisciplinary team conducting fundamental and applied research.
• Communicating with cooperators and stakeholders.
• Ensuring proper interpretation and reporting of scientific results.
