Excel Engineering, Inc. is seeking a team-oriented, highly motivated individual for a Utility Construction Supervisor position.

Primary Responsibilities

• Manages the entire project lifecycle from project definition through implementation.
• Accountable for meeting agreed upon scope, cost, schedule, and quality measures.
• Develops project plan and drives project milestones.
• Establishes effective communication plan with project team and key stakeholders.
• Provides day-to-day direction to project resources. This ensures the project teams receive the resources and support needed to reach their defined objectives.
• Ensures effective change management occurs throughout the course of the project.
• Prepares documentation and status reports.

Requirements

• Minimum of (5) or more years’ experience in Field Construction activities related to Electric Utility Systems.
• Experience with ArcGIS
• Electrical transmission and/or substation construction and maintenance experience
• Experience in a leadership role, e.g. Construction Manager, Supervisor, Superintendent
• Project management experience.
• Excellent oral and written communications.
• Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and leadership skills.
• Excellent project planning, judgment, decision-making, analysis, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of construction best practices.
