Transmission & Distribution
Ampirical’s Transmission & Distribution Division (T&D) manages and designs concurrent large-scale transmission projects. Our engineering employees have designed hundreds of miles of overhead transmission and distribution lines for a variety of energy clients. We utilize the latest in design software tools to provide a thorough technical line design.
Job Summary:
The Engineering Team Lead is responsible for the engineering, design, development, implementation, and analysis of power systems and may include distribution, civil/structural and transmission design. This role will be responsible for the direct supervision, project oversight and mentoring of Designers and Engineers. The role also requires regular ongoing interface with the client and occasionally in the field at job walks and site visits. The Team Lead also recommends, reviews, and provides quality assurance checks to engineering and design development and deliverables to improve quality of products and/or procedures. Using client standards, the Team Lead prepares construction work packages for implementation of recommended remediation measures, including preparation of drawings, and creating material lists.

The salary range for this position is $105,000 - $145,000, depending on relevant experience, education, and licenses. We also offer profit sharing bonuses to share in the success!
