Biomedical Engineering Technician jobs in Florida

ARO Engineering currently needs to fill a variety of full time and/or part time Engineering Technician positions. Our office is conveniently located in Northern St. Petersburg, next to the Howard Frankland Bridge. Our company focuses on Civil Site Design, Structural Design, as well as Coastal Engineering. We are looking to fill multiple positions, and we are interested in a variety of candidates. We are looking for anyone who is interested in furthering their knowledge and perusing a career in the Civil Engineering field. This includes graduate level engineering candidates, current engineering students, future students, or anyone interested in perusing a career in Civil Engineering or Drafting. No experience is required.

Job Duties in general will include helping to prepare and assist with the detailed design of permit/construction plans, as well as assistance in preparing project specifications and other permit documents. In addition to our in office work, duties will also include a variety of field work such as inspections, and construction management. This will include tasks both in office and in the field.

Requirements for the position are as follows:

• General knowledge of computer technologies, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Programs.
• AUTOCAD experience is not required but is a plus.
• General knowledge of mathematics
• Full time availability of 40hrs per week (We are also interested in filling part time positions as well with a minimum of 20hrs per week).
