We are hiring both entry-level and experienced Construction Materials Testing Technicians for field work in Gulf shorse, AL. Full-time positions are preferred, but we also have part-time positions available.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Construction Materials Testing (CMT) Technician in Alabama, your primary responsibility is to perform field and/or laboratory testing, observation, and inspection of various construction materials including soils, aggregates, concrete, asphalt, and steel. You will communicate with project managers, engineering technicians, client representatives, and contractors regarding project requirements and testing results. Additionally, you will transport material samples to the laboratory for further testing and analysis, and prepare data and observation reports for daily submission to the Project Manager. It will also be your responsibility to maintain and clean equipment, vehicles, and work areas, and may assist in scheduling and dispatching technicians to project sites. Safety is of utmost importance, and you must adhere to strict safety standards. We are seeking entry-level and experienced individuals for this role, with experience being a plus but not a not requirement. The role involves testing and inspection of asphalt, concrete, soils, piles, and other construction-related quality control and quality assurance work.
