Biomedical Photographer performs wide variety of photographic functions in a medical setting. Takes photographs and prepares images, slides, or prints of subjects used for archives, educational materials, legal proceedings, and scientific literature. Being a Biomedical Photographer photographs patients, operating room procedures, autopsy and laboratory specimens and other medical subjects. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Additionally, Biomedical Photographer may require a technical certification. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Biomedical Photographer works independently within established procedures associated with the specific job function. Has gained proficiency in multiple competencies relevant to the job. The Formulation Operator will work on our First Shift and perform batch processing of various calibrators, controls, and additional reagents required to support company produced and OEM analyzers.
Essential Responsibilities: formulation of various solutions including staging of tanks, weighing and mixing of chemicals per assembly procedures (AP's) and final batch adjustment and transfer of solutions. Perform incoming inspection of raw chemicals upon receipt, maintenance of formulation equipment and cleaning as needed. Ability to accurately document and complete records of batch formulations.
Requirements: High School Diploma, or equivalent with related experience in a GMP environment. 0-2 years' experience as a Compounder/Formulator or comparative environment. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and be able to work alternately in a seated or standing position. Ability to work with a variety of weighing equipment such as analytical balances, top loaders and liquid transfer equipment as well as operate manual and electric pallet jacks. Must be able to wear cartridge type respirator, have basic math and mechanical aptitude skills. This person must have basic knowledge of Quality System Regulations (QSR), OSHA, Safety Standards and Good Manufacturing Practices. Knowledge of reverse osmosis water system, lyophilization, and sterilization procedures a plus. Hours: Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM.
