Job Summary:
Picture Studios seeking a talented and creative Photographer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for capturing high-quality images and videos for INSIDE Monthly (Magazine). Additionally, they will serveas our director of photography (DP) for music videos, actor/model headshots, commercials, demo reels, and live events.
Duties:
- Capture and edit high-quality images and videos for various purposes, including marketing materials, social media content, and website visuals
- Collaborate with clients to understand their vision and deliver exceptional results that meet their needs
- Utilize photo editing software to enhance and retouch images
- Manage color management processes to ensure accurate representation of colors in final images
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and techniques to continuously improve your skills and deliver innovative content
- Assist in the planning and execution of photoshoots, including location scouting, prop selection, and model coordination
- Maintain an organized digital library of all photos and videos for easy access and retrieval
Experience:
- Proven experience as a professional Photographer, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work
- Proficiency in photo editing software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Lightroom)
- Knowledge of video editing software such as Final Cut Pro is a plus
- Familiarity with social media platforms and best practices for content creation
- Strong understanding of color management principles to ensure accurate representation of colors in final images
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with clients, models, and team members
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in journalism or video production is a bonus
