Biomedical Photographer performs wide variety of photographic functions in a medical setting. Takes photographs and prepares images, slides, or prints of subjects used for archives, educational materials, legal proceedings, and scientific literature. Being a Biomedical Photographer photographs patients, operating room procedures, autopsy and laboratory specimens and other medical subjects. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Additionally, Biomedical Photographer may require a technical certification. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Biomedical Photographer works independently within established procedures associated with the specific job function. Has gained proficiency in multiple competencies relevant to the job. The Photographer, a member of the Agricultural Communications team, shoots and edits photographic images in widely diverse locations and used for equally diverse purposes. In this role, you will coordinate photography including lighting, shooting, editing, archiving and maintaining the department’s photographic database.
Additional responsibilities will include:
- Providing creative consultation to clients
- Troubleshooting photography related hardware and software issues as necessary
- Developing and utilizing skills in videography
What We're Looking For:- Bachelor’s degree in photography or related discipline
- 2 professional photography experience (Internships may be considered as professional experience)
- Strong photography lighting and staging skills and image editing skills
- Strong proven working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud-especially Photoshop and Lightroom
Nice to Have:
- Videography experience
