Takes photographs and prepares images, slides, or prints of subjects used for archives, educational materials, legal proceedings, and scientific literature. Being a Biomedical Photographer photographs patients, operating room procedures, autopsy and laboratory specimens and other medical subjects. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Additionally, Biomedical Photographer may require a technical certification. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Biomedical Photographer works independently within established procedures associated with the specific job function. Has gained proficiency in multiple competencies relevant to the job.     The Biomedical Technician is responsible for installation", electrical safety inspections, periodic maintenance, performance testing and major and minor repairs of medical equipment in assigned areas of the hospital, as well as external/retail clients.

    Required qualifications:

    • Associate's Degree in Biomedical Equipment Technology

    • Coursework/Training in Electronics Technology, Military or Technical Training

    • Upon request: If position requires driving," a valid driver’s license and proof of insurance per company policy will be required.

    Preferred qualifications:

    • 3 years of experience in repair of biomedical equipment
