QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or GED preferred. Must have successfully completed Dealer School or have at least six months of on-the-job experience within the last five years. Must satisfactorily pass a gaming audition administered by a Presque Isle Downs & Casino Table Games Supervisor or Manager to verify that the applicant is knowledgeable in technical skills, game pace, awareness of game protection responsibilities, and is able to follow instruction. Must complete CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation) training or be already certified to be employed as a table games dealer.
LANGUAGE ABILITY
Ability to read and comprehend instructions, training manuals, short correspondence and memos. Ability to write basic correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one on one and small group situations to customers and other employees of the organization.
MATH ABILITY
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference and volume. Ability to work with and apply mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical theory.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral form.
COMPUTER SKILLS
No computer skills are required for this position.
CERTIFICATES AND LICENSES
Must be able to obtain and maintain appropriate licensing from the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board. Must be CPR certified.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position does not have any direct supervisory responsibilities.
