Facilities Inventory and Procurement Specialist is responsible for implementing, controlling and monitoring spare part and services.

This position is placing, tracking, and expediting material, services, and equipment purchases related to maintenance and facilities.

The Maintenance Inventory and Procurement Specialist will work with established account vendors and efforts to source new vendors for required spare and repair parts inventory.

The Facilities Inventory and Procurement Specialist will have daily interaction with internal costumers, Procurement, and accounting personnel to ensure accurate, timely and quality delivery of materials and equipment.

This position will be the lead in specialty purchasing roles, collaborating with the Procurement team, and Engineering team to procure parts and services.

This position is also responsible for reviewing and approving invoices, negotiating and implementing Click Bond favorable pricing in collaboration with the purchasing team.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Manages inventory and purchasing records and process in Maintenance Connection (CMMS).
• Develop and improves on inventory management and Procurement procedures.
• Leads training for the Inventory associate and customers.
• Directs daily work of the Inventory associate.
• Develops Key Performance Indicators for inventory control management.
• 5s 6s lean process for inventory management and controlled areas central and remote locations.
• Uses reports Key performance indicators (KPI’s) to manage and improves maintenance inventory.
• Leads procurement and kitting for Preventive Maintenance activities.
• Performs root cause analysis and identify items and services needed to support Click Bond operations.
• Will be responsible for the completion of critical procurement of parts and services to restore critical operations.
• Determines spare part needs for Click Bond equipment and levels for inventory.
• Procures, standardizes and creates Bill of Materials for new automations builds.
• Manages material pickups from vendors and distribution of materials to multiple locations.
• Will conduct and maintain Cycle Count Program and will perform Root Cause Analysis when needed.
• Conducts physical inventory audits of stock locations not included in the cycle count program as scheduled.
• Creates Authorization for future expenditures including negotiated vendor quotations.
• Works with other buying agents to streamline purchasing.
• Report immediately all suspicious and hazardous conditions to a supervisor.
• Understand and observe all safety guidelines and assure quality and safety by complying with all appropriate CB policies and procedures.
• Assist in maintaining clean, orderly and hazard-free work areas.
• Able to work with minimal supervision, be a self-starter and be detail oriented.
• Performs other duties and assignments as directed by immediate supervisor and management.

QUALIFICATIONS : To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to demonstrate the following competencies :

• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Thorough working knowledge of purchasing policies, processes, and procedures.
• Complete knowledge of warehouse and inventory control policies and procedures.
• Extensive knowledge and ability to negotiate best vendor terms, pricing and delivery based on specific
• Experience working with budget and schedules.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Word and ERP systems and CMMS
• Able to complete projects on schedule and go the extra mile.
• Able to work in team environment.
• Forklift experience is a plus.
• Mathematical skills including ability to add, substract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to read, write and understand written English language.

EDUCATION AND / OR EXPERIENCE :

• Associates degree. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Five or more years of purchasing experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Have demonstrated knowledge, skills and abilities to procure machinery and industrial parts.

WORK ENVIRONMENT :

• Work primarily performed in a standard office environment. If in manufacturing areas, may be exposed to noise, smells, heat, cold, dust, may be in physical contact with adhesive, cutting fluids and other industrial elements.
• Work requires the observance of fire regulations and safe work practices.
• When in manufacturing areas, will be exposed to bright light, noise, heat, cold, dust, etc.
