Job Title: Maintenance Technician, 1st or 3rd Shift Available
Schedule: 6am – 2pm (1st Shift) OR 10pm to 6am (3rd Shift)
GENERAL SUMMARY OF POSITION:
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for optimizing the safe and continuous operation of all manufacturing equipment. Daily tasks include preventative maintenance, machine troubleshooting and repair, fabrication and occasional facilities maintenance work.
CORE & ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
· Maintain a safe work environment and follow all Seal Bond Safety policies and procedures
· Perform routine preventative maintenance to ensure machines continue to run smoothly, facility systems operate efficiently, and the physical conditions of the building do not deteriorate.
--Clean and lubricate shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery.
· Diagnose mechanical problems and determine how to correct them.
--Dismantle devices to gain access to and remove defective parts, using hoists, cranes, hand tools, and power tools.
--Interface with global equipment suppliers via email, WhatsApp and Phone to troubleshoot machine issues
· Assemble, install and/or repair wiring, electronic components, pipe systems and plumbing machinery and equipment.
--Align and balance new equipment after installation.
· Identify process improvements and facilitate a culture of continuous improvement
QUALIFICATIONS:
Three or more years of maintenance experience. Basic algebraic math skills are required. Preferred skill sets:
- Electrical certifications
- Familiarity with Allen-Bradely PLCs preferred
- Basic Metal/Wood Fabrication
- PVC and Metal Plumbing
Must be results-orientated and able to work both independently and within a team environment. Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Able to climb and descend stairs numerous times in a shift. Normal range of tolerance to household and other types of typical industrial/ construction chemicals and solvents. The employee is required to sit, climb, balance, carry, push, pull, reach, and adjust body position to bend, stoop, walk, turn, pivot, and stand for long periods of time. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 65 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Hearing and vision required to be within normal ranges. Read at, above, and below shoulder height. Sufficient manual dexterity required to operate equipment. Sufficient manual dexterity required to operate equipment. Tolerate in climate weather, including excessive heat and cold.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes, chemicals and/or airborne particles, high pressure fluids, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment may be loud.
