Bond Trading Manager manages and leads a group of bond traders responsible for the timely buying and selling of government or corporate bonds. Reviews orders to ensure accuracy, proper record keeping, and conformance to regulations. Being a Bond Trading Manager evaluates market volatility and ensures clients receive the best rate available. Develops programs and strategies to increase profitability. Additionally, Bond Trading Manager keeps abreast of market conditions. Requires a bachelor's degree in a related area. Typically reports to a director. The Bond Trading Manager typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be a Bond Trading Manager typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments.     PREREQUISITES 
    Education: High school diploma or equivalent



    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
    Must be an excellent communicator with the ability to deal with all levels of team members. Computer knowledge is essential.


    Physical: Ability to work any area of the restaurant as needed and to operate computerized Point of Sale system/cash register. This position requires bending, standing and walking the entire workday. Must have the ability to lift 10 pounds frequently and up to 30 pounds occasionally.
