Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and performing various accounting tasks. This is a vital role within our organization, ensuring that financial transactions are recorded correctly and financial statements are prepared accurately. Responsibilities: - Perform double entry bookkeeping to record financial transactions - Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts - Conduct account analysis and reconciliation to ensure accuracy - Prepare and process payroll, including calculating wages, deductions, and taxes - Complete bank reconciliations to ensure accurate cash balances - Assist with tax preparation and filing - Generate financial reports and statements for management review - Collaborate with internal teams to provide financial information as needed - Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices in bookkeeping Qualifications: - Proven experience in corporate accounting or public accounting - Strong knowledge of double entry bookkeeping principles - Proficient in account analysis and general ledger reconciliation - Familiarity with tax regulations and payroll processing - Excellent attention to detail and accuracy - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Proficient in using accounting software and MS Office Suite - Ability to work independently and meet deadlines Please note that all positions at our company are paid, including internship positions.
