Job Summary: As a Bookkeeper, you will play a crucial role in supporting Troyer Post Buildings financial operations. You will play a large role in ensuring accuracy in the bookkeeping processes and will be expected to work closely with other team members on an on-going, regular basis to complete all assigned tasks.
Job Tasks:
· Assist senior staff in managing day-to-day financial transactions.
· Record financial transactions into QuickBooks.
· Reconcile bank statements.
o Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
· Assist in generating financial reports within QuickBooks.
o Distribute reports accordingly based on the need.
· Assist in preparing documentation for audits and tax filings.
o Example: 941 Filings
· Provide overall administrative support to the finance team.
o Assisting in organizing documents and records, filing documents accordingly.
Requirements:
· An individual in this role should have a minimum of 5 years of Bookkeeping experience.
· Proficiency in QuickBooks is essential for this role.
o Preferred minimum of 5 years of QuickBooks experience
· Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field is preferred but not required.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· Strong organizational and time management skills
· Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team.
· Prior experience in a similar field of work is a plus.
