Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team. This requires experience, attention to detail, and strong communication skills. The ideal candidate will have experience in account reconciliation, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and proficiency in and general ledger reconciliation.

Responsibilities:

- Manage Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Payroll processes.

-Manage the day-to-day accounting functions like Billing, Purchase Order Entry, etc.

- Running credit applications. Verifying customer information to determine their creditworthiness.

- Ensure proper general ledger coding is utilized and appropriate approval is obtained

- Experience working with generally accepted accounting principles

- Ensure all levels of approval have been achieved before entering payable to system and before payment is released.
- Support the preparation of financial reports

Skills:

- Strong Communication Skills in a fast pace work environment

- Working knowledge of office devices and processes

- Attention to detail, organizational skills, and problem solving abilities

- Multitasking and time management abilities

- Strong analytic ability

Experience:

- Proven work experience as a Bookkeeper or similar role
- Solid understanding of accounting principles
- Experience with balance sheet reconciliation and general ledger reconciliation
- Proficiency in using accounting software Microsoft Great Plains is a plus
- Strong knowledge of debits and credits
