Bookkeeper maintains and records a complete and systematic set of business transactions. Balances ledgers, reconciles accounts, and prepares reports to show receipts, expenditures, accounts receivable, and payable. Being a Bookkeeper follows bookkeeping procedures established by the organization. May require an associate degree or equivalent. Additionally, Bookkeeper typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Bookkeeper works under moderate supervision. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. - Handling AR/AP, financial statements, general ledger, journal entries, cash flow, and more
- Assisting in the payroll process for clients
- Conducting all client meetings virtually (Zoom, Teams, or phone calls)
- Ensuring efficient bookkeeping with no tax work involved
Requirements:- 3 years of experience as a bookkeeper
- Accounting firm experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks (both Online and Desktop versions)
- High school diploma is required; Bachelor’s degree is preferred
- Experience with Sage is a plus
